What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?
Sorry for the late response. I wanted to take some time and really think about the nice things people have done for me during my life time. On one hand theres too many things to list and its hard to narrow it down because every single thing means so much to me. So i cant possibly pick the nicest, but i can give you a few, out of the ordinary examples. :)
When i was 14-15 i ran away from home for almost a year and i somehow made it in part of the kindness of strangers. They gave me food, clothes and even a warm place to sleep sometimes. I wish i could find them all now and expressed how much i appreciated what they did for me.
A few Christmas’s ago i was going through a rough period in my life. My best friend jason (and his family) decided that he was going to give me a scene out of bioshock 2 for my present. He went searching all over for just the right pieces. He even made me a plasmid bottle. Everyone kept it a secret and when i walked into his house xmas eve, there was music playing, scenes from bioshock on the wall and kinds of little accessories. It was really awesome and such a cool present. Made me forget all my troubles. :)
A small pic of part of it. Im not sure why the plasmid is yellow. Its red irl. lol
I have another one dealing with bioshock, but i need to take some pics of it.
Seriously though, anything and everything that someones done for me, i treasure. Big or small.

Your Bioshock Infinite caps are amazing! I can defintely tell that you have a photographers eye, the compositions are beautiful and they really capture what's so stunning about the games settings/locations.
Aww thank you so much!! :) It makes me so happy people enjoy them! I really try my best to give the Bioshock games (and others as well) all the love they deserve. The developers put so many little details in their game worlds, i can spend months or even years finding and screenshotting them all. :)

major appreciation for your mirror's edge screencaps! I just love the look of the game and i was in awe looking through your tag. How do they not get more notes!? Thank you so much for these <3 Also your other game screencaps are amazing. (it's just that i have a major bias for mirror's edge...)
Thanks a lot! I appreciate, that you appreciate them! :) I love the look and style of mirrors edge as well! It keeps bringing me back for more shots. And while lots of notes are nice, if you were the only person that liked them, that would be enough for me. :] Ill make sure to keep them coming!

First of all I just want to say you are MY HERO for taking these screenshots. Infinite is probably the most beautiful game I've played and no one can capture it like you can. So thank you! Also I second the anon that recommended you do vids, I'd love to see how you get to these views! Like that one of comstock house?? And the raffle level?! Incredible.
Aww you are far too kind! Thank you so much!! :) :) And I agree, infinite is beautiful! I just love the bioshock series so much, i cant help but explore and screenshot every bit of these amazing worlds (so far i have over 3300 pics for infinite alone). The developers did so much hard work, you can tell they really put tons of love into infinite. So I try my best to give it all the love and attention it deserves.
One way to do that is to find new ways of looking at certain areas/levels/characters. It can be a bit difficult to make these shots work because the game designers never intended you to see things from these perspectives (or have a character where they arent supposed to be, like todays post with elizabeth). So you have to find just the right angle or be at just the right distance to hide unfinished/unloaded areas. But that challenge is a lot of fun for me. :) Maybe i will do a video one of these days. Thank you again! :]

Hi, I REALLY love your blog!! I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries here by asking, but I was wondering if you could get some more Lutece screenshots from Infinite?

Hey! :D I would like to know if you eventually have some more pictures of Infinite's levels (like the off map Raffle one). I would really like to use them for my Minecraft Columbia (Google: Planet Minecraft Columbia by Tiresh ; it should pop up). Your screenshots are a really wonderful reference and it would be great if you could make some more of these :)! ~Tiresh
Hi there :] Ill try to take some for you. They are kinda hard to get (like the one youre talking about) because as one part of the level loads, another disappears. I had to be in exactly the right spot for all of it to load together correctly. Your project looks amazing btw! :D

Im the anon from earlier who asked about requests. This is going to sound really weird, but stairs? Like the stairs you recently posted. I loved the Stairs in the game but never got a chance to screenshot them. Do you have Infinite stairs you could possibly post? :3 Sorry, I know I sound weird lol
Hello again :) Not weird at all! Stairs in games (and in general) are awesome! I actually saw a tumbr devoted to them (in games). :] Any ones in particular? And do they have to be just the stairs? Like without any characters or other things in the shot? Because i dont think i have any of those right now. But i could take some in a bit.

Wow your screenshots are amazing. Do you take requests from Bioshock Infinite?
Thanks anon :) Because you cant save when you want, taking requests is kind of a pain in infinite. But i have thousands of screenshots, so maybe i have something close to what youre looking for. :) What did you have in mind?

What kind of recording/capturing system do you have for your gaming screenshots?
I use a few different things. Sometimes i use fraps or the screenshot function of whatever injector (like sweetfx) im using. Other times i might use tiled shot if the game allows it.

ryanananaykroyd replied to your post: I think it would be awesome if you did like…
Your shot of the lighthouse on Infinite is my laptop’s wallpaper and I’ve always wondered how you got into that area of the map to make the pic. I kind of assumed you had some weird software to manipulate camera angles, crazy how much effort goes in!
For that shot i jumped around forever all around the outside of the lighthouse till i was able to fall into one of the rocks Then i slowly moved around until i found what was solid and what would make me fall to my death. I died so much and had to watch the whole opening boat ride over and over. lol. After i knew where it was safe to walk, i crouched and walked under the invisible barrier and made it to the other side of the lighthouse. It took quite a bit of time, so im happy you liked that shot enough to put it as your wallpaper. :D
I think it would be awesome if you did like playthrough videos of some of the games you screenshot, I'd love to see how you actually play the games. Yours is definitely one of my favourite blogs as well, your screenshots are all amazing!
Aww youre too nice anon. Thank you so much :]
I think id be pretty boring to watch play. For regular playthroughs i go very slowly stopping all the time to look at every texture and if something lights up cool, i stare at that for even longer. I also replay some parts (like riding the skylines) over and over until im sick of them. :p
For screenshot playthroughs, its even worse. First thing i do is try and break the game by finding ways around invisible barriers and out of the levels. Before i even take one shot, i love to explore the game from this different perspective. To see how it was built and how they pieced it all together. I also like getting items, character and enemies into places that they werent supposed to go. One small example would be the shot of Elizabeth holding the lantern in the first ladys memorial. Normally she drops it, but i wanted her to keep it because i thought it looked neat. After that, ill spend hours sometimes, in one small area or room taking shot after shot. One from this angle, one from that angle. One close up, one far away. One with enemies, one with all the enemies cleared out. Sometimes, when i dont have the option to be invulnerable (like in infinite) ill die hundreds of times trying to get to a certain area or position. Which is a huge pain when you cant save the game and have to rely on check points. Finally i use sweetfx or some other injector to boost contrast, shadows, sharpness, ect and i have to adjust that from area to area as the lighting changes. I personally love every second of it, as much as playing the game, but i dont know if other people would be so enthusiastic. lol But maybe one day ill try to make a vid of me playing and/or taking screenshots. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
